Welcome to Westcliffe Medical Practice
The practice is a long established Shipley practice with a history that can be traced back into the middle of the last century. From our early beginnings in Kirkgate as a single-handed practice run by Dr John Craig from the 1920s, we have transformed via a spell in Shipley Health Centre to our current accommodation and size.
Westcliffe Medical Practice is part of Affinity Care. Read more...
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Access & Parking
Access is available via the main entrance from the Asda car park. A wheelchair is available for use in the surgery. Please ask at reception.
‘Pay and display' parking is available at a Bradford Council car park immediately outside the practice boundaries. The practice holds no responsibility for this car park.

Rapid Access Patient Investigation & Diagnosis Portal
RAPID-P is an initiative currently being piloted by Westcliffe Health Innovations in response to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance recommending that patients presenting with long-lasting gastric (gut) symptoms are referred promptly for appropriate investigation.
If you are experiencing repeated or enduring gastro problems we recommend you complete a secure online assessment questionnaire which can be accessed by clicking here: RAPID-P (https://www.rapidp.co.uk)
Your answers to the questions will be assessed immediately and you will be informed straight away whether your symptoms should be investigated further by your GP or local specialist clinic, and by what date you should be seen by a clinician.
For further information please visit the RAPID-P website (https://www.rapidp.co.uk/)
